Assistant Trainers

Role of Assistant Trainers

The District Training Team, led by District Trainer PDG Rtn TNS (Raju) Subramanian comprises of 9 Assistant Trainers. In turn, they will head groups with two AGs and 4 GC’s each. These groups will be coordinating with the Club Trainers (concept developed by RI in Nov. 2006), to organise effective communication to disseminate comprehensive yet interesting and useful Rotary information to the grass root Rotarian. A well informed Rotarian soldier is an effective tool in community service.

 

The aim of the program is to :

       I.    Increase awareness of and about Rotary at the club level and

       II.   Foster the development of Leadership Skills

 

The different aspects of total club involvements is designed in various formals :

       I.    Board of Directors orientation (to be held in May-June 2011)

       II.   DAUD-District At Your Doorstep

       III.  Specific need based club orientations

 

The program Implementation at the club should ensure the following :

       I.    Club Leaders attend district meetings

       II.   Consistent and regular updating of information for new members

       III.  Offer ongoing educational opportunities for current members

       IV.  Create a leadership skills development program for all members

 

The RI BOD has also created a Leadership Development Program which should include:
